Poem
Every teenager has their issue
But there are those that need a tissue.
Depression can be caused by anything
Mainly by those that make a sting.
I have been fortunate where I live
Because there are those that give.
However, I am quite different
With me being sort of distant.
I never knew what people saw
It must have been based off some law.
Finally I came to understand
That I am part of the gay island.
I keep my sexual orientation private.
I like to keep a peaceful climate.
Even though there is no hatred,
I would prefer not to be graded.
Homosexually is an awkward topic,
People fight about its logic.
There are stereotypes of my kind
That we all have the same mind.
I aim to be known for me,
Rather then a gay would be.
However I want to be “out”,
For my being gay to be known about.
But then again the conversation
Might cause me frustration.
Nonetheless, being gay is not amusing.
The world is a straight thing.
At least I know I am not alone,
But who I will be with is unknown.
I will just live my life till that day,
It’s not like I think I’m not gay.
A Meaningful Texting Conversation
- ME: "I act differently around people in general. I try to make sure people treat me like anyone else rather than treat me like a gay guy. I don't know if I come off as gay or not, but I still would rather keep that as just another thing about me. I don't want people liking/befriending me because I am gay either. I have comfort issues. It all depends on how comfortable I am around a person as to whether or not I will open up and be my true self rather than just a part of who I am."
- FRIEND: "I understand. I think a few of the friend I've made just want to say they are friend with this person 'because:___' there shouldn't be that kind of 'because'. I mean because they are nice, or compassionate , or we share a lot of common interests is fine and all, but I get what you're saying: every straight girl wants a gay guy friend who is really feminine all the time and they won't even bother if they are the least bit masculine. Or the straight girl's boyfriend wants his girlfriend to see he can be friend with a gay guy, but either way both parties are just using you."

To follow and be followed are something I would like to do more here on tumblr. Unfortunately, I do not know who to follow other than youbearlyknewme (Josh). I don’t I can follow anyone I know, since everyone has a Facebook and has no need for a tumblr. People I would like to follow are people that are hot/cute, interesting people, funny people, international people, and many more that I can not think of at the moment.
I would also love to be followed. Currently, all I have is youbearlyknewme (thanks for following me), which I think this to be due to the fact that I haven’t really started yet. I would like people to follow me because they like me for who I am. It would also be nice to get “questions” about anything. If I get followers that live in my area, then maybe we can hang out :).
